How Credits Work

What Are Credits?

Credits are BeeBridge's internal currency. They let you access premium features like paid consultations with verified beekeeping experts. Every BeeBridge user receives credits through their subscription plan, and additional credits can be purchased separately.

Getting Credits

There are two ways to get credits on BeeBridge:

Subscription Plans

Every account includes a subscription plan that grants credits monthly. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your Wallet page.

Credits are granted at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits carry over to the next month as long as your subscription remains active.

Spending Credits

Credits are currently used for the following features:

Paid Consultations

Request a private, one-on-one consultation with a verified beekeeping expert. Each consultation costs 20 credits. When you create a consultation request, 20 credits are locked from your available balance. They are only deducted when you mark the consultation as complete.

  • If the expert doesn't respond within 7 days, the consultation expires and your 20 credits are returned.
  • You can cancel a pending consultation at any time to get your credits back.
  • Once completed, 14 credits go to the expert and 6 credits go to the platform as a service fee.

Checking Your Balance

Your current credit balance is always visible on your Wallet page. The wallet shows your available credits, locked credits (held for pending consultations), and a full transaction history of all credit activity on your account.

Important Details

  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.
  • Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.
  • Credit purchases are generally non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for details.
  • If your account is terminated, unused credits are forfeited unless required otherwise by law.
